SimOps360 is a full operational management tool for Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs). It covers the complete operational lifecycle:
💡 Use Kiosk Mode to display the schedule on a shared screen with a clean full-screen view.
The schedule displays all FSTD training sessions in Daily, Weekly, or Monthly view. Sessions are colour-coded by FSTD.
Click Upload Schedule (.xlsx) in the top bar. The file must contain the following columns (row 1 = headers):
| Column | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Session date | 2026-03-15 or 15/03/2026 |
| Session | Session slot (1–5) | 1 |
| FSTD | Device name | SIM-A |
| Trainee 1 | Primary trainee (required) | Smith, John |
| Trainee 2 | Second trainee (optional) | Brown, Sarah |
| Instructor | Instructor name (optional) | Jones, Mike |
| Observer 1 | First observer (optional) | Wilson, Tom |

⚠ Existing sessions for the uploaded date range will be replaced. Always back up before uploading.
Log and track all device defects from discovery through to rectification.
| Priority | Meaning |
|---|---|
| AOG | Aircraft on Ground — device unserviceable, sessions cannot run |
| A | High — significant impact, rectify within 24 hours |
| B | Medium — minor impact, rectify within 72 hours |
| C | Low — cosmetic or low impact, schedule as convenient |
Open the defect, add a rectification note, and click Close Defect. Closed defects remain in the log for audit purposes.
The Flight Log records the actual simulator utilisation for each session — start time, end time, and flight hours accumulated.
💡 You can raise a defect directly from a FLOG entry if a fault was observed during the session.
The Morning Readiness checklist is completed daily before the first session to confirm each FSTD is serviceable and ready for training.
Go to Admin → Morning Readiness Templates. Upload an Excel file with one task per row in column A (no header required).
Track scheduled preventive maintenance tasks for each FSTD system, organised by generation and system.
In Preventive Maintenance → Admin, select the generation and system, then upload an Excel file with the following columns:
| Column | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| A — Task Reference | Unique task ID | PM-001 |
| B — Task Title | Short title | Visual System Check |
| C — Task Description | Detailed description | Inspect all projectors... |
| D — Frequency | How often the task recurs | weekly / monthly / quarterly / semi_annual / annual / fixed_date |
Generate and export operational reports for a selected date range.
Reports can be exported as PDF or printed directly from the browser.
Admin functions are available to users with the Admin role only.
Define the devices in your organisation. FSTDs added here appear in schedule views, defect forms, and FLOG entries.
